MovieMail conversions are up 67% following website re-launch by Strange.

MovieMail, www.MovieMail-Online.co.uk, a specialist web-based film (DVD) store, has seen conversions jump dramatically following the redesign of its website by Strange.

Initial results show a surge in conversions of 67%, plus a rise in transactions of over 60% and an increase in time on the website of 30%.

Strange recommended the re-launch as the first step in its online marketing strategy for MovieMail.

A specialist in classic, art house, independent, foreign and acclaimed films (delivered on DVD), MovieMail bills itself as ‘the quality film shop’ and has been established for over 12 years with a second to none reputation for a love and knowledge of film.

Focusing on commerciality, Strange redesigned the MovieMail site to make the most of existing traffic by boosting usability and improving user engagement.
The new look and feel follows extensive analysis of the target audience of film enthusiasts, using layouts and displays that clearly resonate with them.

Information retrieval has become easier with new architecture that allows users to browse MovieMail’s 14,000 films by genre, country, director and actor.

Strange also altered the structure of the site to improve search engine optimisation (SEO).
