The specific targeting of the sexual health campaign currently being run by Strange on social networks for the Bournemouth and Poole Primary Care Trust is proving to be highly effective.
Currently on Facebook, the campaign is targeting 15 to 24 year olds in the BH1 - BH19 postcodes. This exact targeting generates highly qualified traffic, resulting in 55% conversion rate (requests for a free & confidential postal Chlamydia testing kit) - a conversion rate that would be unheard of in many other less targeted marketing channels.
“This is a very cost effective way of marketing and is the exact opposite of the shotgun approach” said Cass Heaphy, Online Marketing Director of Strange.
The testing kit is free, anonymous and completed by post. A £5 HMV voucher is being offered as an incentive. Details are at www.f-risky.co.uk/get_tested
Started in March and currently ongoing, this campaign will expand to other social networks and more postcodes in the future.
