
Strange has one the brief to develop a new website for Holiday France Direct.
The new website will showcase the holiday properties that the company markets to holidaymakers wishing to book gites, cottages and villas in France and Spain. At the heart of the new website will be a re-envisaged property search function which allows customers to discover their ideal property based on a range of criteria. The site will also include extensive travel guides for the various regions of France. Property owners will be able to access secure system to allow them to manage their property details. The new website, expected to launch in the summer of 2016, will be built using Drupal and Laravel. It will utilise Elastic Search for processing search requests and Google Maps for the map interface. Holiday France Direct is a Brittany Ferries brand that advertises a wide choice of holiday accommodation in France plus a small selection in Spain.
