
With an audience of 50,000 senior digital marketers to impress, we were honoured to be asked to design the front cover of the 2013 Annual Source Guide.
The concept of the blueprints and an isometric line were initially aimed at expressing form and depth relevant to the subject matter, though they quickly developed further. The idea of a continuous line enveloped other notions – such as the idea of “all things interlinking” – and through this, the design was made to reflect these digital interactions. Iconography and content relevant to Figaro Digital’s audience, such as various messages and logos, were imbedded within this continuous line.

Jon Boston is Co-Founder and Technical Director of Strange, a digital marketing and web development agency based in Bournemouth and Bristol. He has spent more than 25 years building, replatforming and optimising commercial websites for charities, B2B and professional services, and direct-to-consumer brands across the UK.
