Strange has designed and launched a peer style site to increase applications for higher education as part of a campaign by the Department of Innovation Universities and Skills (DIUS).
With research showing that young people are more likely to trust information and knowledge from friends, the site has peer-style advice, rather than the authoritative tones of the government. To enhance the website’s trust and credibility, Strange has designed a fresh look and feel with strong visual appeal. In addition to Financial Support, the site provides information on key areas of university life, living away from home and the benefits of higher education. Sections on the site comprise of Getting Involved, Becoming Independent, Money-Saving Tips and Realise Your Potential as well as a Jargon Buster and Facts section.
